Universal Children's Day in Aid of the Babysya Galyna Fund

Every child has the right to attend school and receive a quality education. To mark World Children's Day, we celebrate this date to remind us that children have rights to a bright future and look at how we can help to ensure that these rights are realised for children of Ukraine.

On the 27th of November, it will be the 276th day of the Ukrainian war, bringing devastation and suffering to Ukraine's children, which has profoundly impacted children's lives with consequences that we will have to be addressed for years to come. Almost two out of three children have been displaced by fighting.

"Families have been ripped apart. Schools, hospitals, playgrounds, parks and thousands of homes were damaged and continue to be destroyed; Conditions for children in areas where fighting has intensified are increasingly desperate. Children fleeing from violence are at significant risk of family separation, abuse, sexual exploitation, 

and trafficking. Most have been exposed to deep trauma and emotional suffering that will stay with them for 

years."
